About this site
TweetMarketing is a big word. Not really by the number of letters, but by its meaning. With social media, new marketing, and all the other exciting things on the horizon…it can be tough to wrap our arms around the overall goals of marketing. This blog exists to help shine a light on some of the newer trends and any notable reads or useful links pertaining to Marketing + Branding + Design.
Chris currently resides in Raleigh, NC. He is a Pragmatic Marketing Certified Social Marketing Manager at Bandwidth, a TA for BUS 360 – Marketing Methods and guest lecturer and co-course developer for MBA 590-005 Social Media & Management. -His article, Real World Twitter Usage for Product Managers was published by Pragmatic Marketing.

-He guides the social media strategy for Phonebooth to get real results, which has been covered by Mashable.

-He tells funny stories and is pretty sarcastic.
-He’s tall enough for you to wear 3″ plus heels around.
-He may not be a social media rockstar, but he’s at least a groupie.
-He does most video interviews in one take or less, like this one.
-He can perfectly imitate @summerjoy and her Golden Tee stroke.
-He can fit in almost any speaking panel and most overhead compartments.
-He’s so self-deprecating, you’ll feel better about yourself by hanging out with him.

Are you really in tune with your product? Can you name the top three issues that customers are experiencing? If you’re trapped in an elevator with a user of your product, could you solve their issues?
Too often as marketers, we focus on fluff instead of substance. There are plenty of fluffy things that have to get done and are valuable to do well, but distancing ourselves from our products is a huge mistake to make.
